Announcements
The Announcement feature allows administrators or authorized users to create and share important updates, notifications, or messages with specific groups of users. Announcements can include formatted text, file attachments.
Creating a New Announcement
Navigate to the Dashboard of your application.
Locate the Announcements section.
Click on the Add Announcement button to create a new announcement.
When you click on Add Announcement, a form will appear (see screenshot above). Fill in the following fields:
1. Subject
Enter a clear and concise title for your announcement.
This field is mandatory.
2. To
Specify the recipients of the announcement.
This field is mandatory.
You can set same group as our other modules ( Forms / T&I ) current staff, parent, student and filter out student or parent with specific year level & Class.
3. Body
Use the rich text editor to write the content of your announcement.
4. Files
Optionally, attach files related to the announcement (e.g., circulars, PDFs, images).
Click Choose Files and upload one or more documents.
5. Send Announcement
Once all required fields are filled, click Send Announcement.
We send email notification to selected receipts & also so that announcement to Task & Notification section.
Types of Announcements
Paperly supports a range of announcement types, allowing schools to communicate clearly and consistently with staff and families. Depending on how your school configures the module, announcements may include:
General School Updates
Whole-school messages such as term dates, timetable adjustments, policy updates, or leadership communications.
Year-Level or Campus-Specific Notices
Targeted updates for particular year groups, houses, campuses, or cohorts to ensure messages are relevant and concise.
Event & Activity Reminders
Reminders about upcoming excursions, performances, sports fixtures, information evenings, or key deadlines.
Operational Notifications
Important process-based communications, such as form completion reminders, consent deadlines, or documentation requests.
Urgent or Time-Sensitive Alerts
Critical updates requiring immediate attention, such as unexpected schedule changes, cancellations, or safety notices.
Staff-Only Announcements
Internal communications for teaching and administrative teams, including professional development reminders, operational updates, or procedural changes.
